As a business you want your staff to be well and able to attend work, hope that they find work enjoyable, and want to support them to thrive with you, meaning that they may be more likely to stay with you long-term. Ultimately, you also want to save the cost of cover if they were off unwell or recruiting into their posts if they left.

By investing in their mental health you can offer a broader staff support package, enable the team to learn tools to support each other, and show your commitment as an employer to their health and wellbeing. A happier team is a more productive team, with recent research from Oxford university showing a 13% increase in productivity.

Ongoing Support

Ongoing bespoke support for managers or individuals is available in the form of monthly support sessions. This is offered on an individual basis and generally it can be useful to meet for an hour a month to share any concerns or stresses from the month, consider problem solving situations together, and have someone external and confidential to speak to.

This is a structured and supportive tool commonly used in mental health services to reduce our stress and burn out linked to supporting others.

Support needs can be negotiated depending on the company and individual's requirements.
